As part of the American Rescue Plan, the Dyer County School System anticipates receiving additional Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds from the federal government.
The ESSER III funding is available to help schools address the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on education, particularly students' academic, social, emotional, and mental health needs. The funding will help safely reopen schools through infrastructure improvements to support safe learning environments, implement necessary interventions to address student learning loss, technology improvements to support learning, transportation, and student health needs.
We want to invite you to participate in an important survey, where you will help us prioritize how to best invest this funding.
