Picture forms and money are due Thursday, September 26. Make up pictures will be taken on Friday, October 4 for students who were absent.
There will be no after school on Tuesday, September 10 due to parent-teacher conferences.
Parents-We will have our Annual Title 1 meeting during Parent/Teacher Conference on Tuesday, September 10. The meeting will take place in the library at 6:00 p.m. We hope that you will join us at this meeting.
The week of September 2-6 is a 3 day week for students. Ms. Rena is challenging all students and staff members to have 100% attendance for this week. The class or classes with 100% attendance next week will receive a reward during the week of September 9-13. Can you meet the challenge?
Thursday, August 29 will be NED’s Mindset Mission Show. Items are available for purchase at the show. Please refer to the note that will be sent home on Monday. Checks can be made payable to Ned’s Shows. If sending cash, please send exact amount of money as we cannot make change. Please send check or cash in an envelope or a Ziploc bag.
Each year Dyersburg Electric purchases the entire staff and students a tshirt. This year the students have been asked to help design the shirt. One student's design will be picked for the 2019-2020 school year. Please have them submit their design to their teacher by Friday, August 23. Limit the design to one color. We can't wait to see the students' great ideas!

Registration for Choctaw Childcare After School Program begins today at your zoned school.
We are having an open registration day on Monday, July 15 from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. for students who did not attend HPS during the 2018-2019 school year. Please bring proof of residency, the child’s birth certificate, and their social security card.
On July 15 we want to take pictures of any students who will attend HPS for the 2019-2020 school year. These pictures will be used around the building. There will be a photographer at the school from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. All students who are interested in having their picture made to possibly be used in the school, please stop by the school with a parent/guardian on Monday, July 15 between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Parents will be asked to sign a permission form for the use of the image.

The school honored Ms. Alice Seratt's retirement from many years of service to the Dyer County School System. We thank her for her dedication and contribution to our students, their families, faculty, staff, and our community.
