Congratulations to Holice Powell's 2022 Teacher of the Year, Monica Robbins. Mrs. Monica gives 100% to her students and utilizes every second of her teaching time. She helps to encourage students to be the best version of themselves and strives to make sure each one succeeds.
This year she has served on the HPS Teacher Leader and Community/Family Involvement Committees. She tutors in both before-school KEYS and after-school TN All Corps. She served on the Tennessee Textbook Commission and did ELA item and passage review and range finding for the state. She is on the district Textbook Adoption Committee as well. Mrs. Monica presented at the Tennessee Science Teacher Association conference and participated in West Teach.
